Tucked away in the KaMilo community at Mauna Lani resort, our stand-alone, 3 bed/3 bath, cottage provides a quiet, private, and comfortable home base for your family’s Big Island adventure. The cottage is conveniently located close to pristine beaches, great restaurants, fully stocked grocery stores, and world-class golf courses. Hokulei Cottage lives up to its name as the brightest star on the Big Island!

Our cottage (built in the Fall of 2014) is a fully detached, single level home that comfortably sleeps 6 guests. Each bedroom features a full ensuite bathroom. The chef’s kitchen allows you to feel right at home when cooking or dining at the cottage. One of our favorite activities is morning coffee or tea on the lanai as the sun rises over the lava fields.

We strive to ensure that every guest experiences a joyful stay. Cleanliness is always a top priority and quilts and bedding are washed after every guest. In addition, we’ve equipped the kitchen and living spaces with touches that will make you feel at home in paradise: a Vitamix blender, a KitchenAid Mixer, a Rice Cooker, a Weber grill, 2 Apple TVs, 2 Rokus, and complimentary Netflix access.

Relax or adventure

As our guest, you enjoy exclusive access to the spectacular Mauna Lani Owner’s Beach Club. On any given day, you can choose to fill an active island schedule or hang out in the cottage and enjoy the luxuries of the resort. We have lots of family fun items in the home including fast internet (200 mbps download), bicycles, boogie boards, floaties, a paddleboard, beach chairs, an entertainment center, books, and board games. You will also have access to the pools, hot tubs, state-of-the-art fitness center, and pavilion at the KaMilo clubhouse facility, which is a short walk away.

Bring your family

The cottage also features two lanais, a washer/dryer, and plenty of items to ensure a comfortable stay for guests with young children (pack-and-play, high chair, bedrail, baby tub, step stool, sippy cups).

Featuring California king beds, full ensuite bathrooms, each with shower and toilet, one with tub. The Owner’s suite has a private lanai!

3rd bedroom

Third bedroom with two twin beds that can be converted into a 3rd California king.
